Simplify Your Bulk E-Mail Sending – Free!

If you regularly send out e-mail messages to large groups, you need a good e-mail list management program. Outlook, Thunderbird and other desktop programs just won't cut it. Rather, you need a powerful program that is capable of sending numerous messages without breaking a sweat. Dada Mail is one such program. It runs on a server, so you'll need access to one. If you have a Web site, you can use your host's server.

Foundation for Safer Housing: Scholarship Update

NACHI Executive Director John Bowman has announced that the FSH Scholarship Program has been increased to $4,000, payable at $1,000 per year for our scholarship winner beginning in 2007.

Make Your PowerPoint Presentations Stand Out

Creating outstanding PowerPoint presentations can be difficult. Unless you're an Office aficionado, you're probably stuck with the built-in templates, and it's all but impossible to wow clients and prospects with the same graphics that everyone else uses.

The Template Creation Wizard add-in allows you to set your own slide backgrounds. Select a picture for the first slide and another picture for the slides that follow. You can pick a digital image of your own or choose from online clip art. You can even edit your background images on the fly. For example, you can adjust the brightness and contrast. Official NACHI Voltage Ticker Now Available

NACHI has partnered with “The Electrical Guru” and NACHI electrical consultant Paul Abernathy to bring the Official NACHI Voltage Ticker to our members at discount prices. 
  
The Voltage Ticker is a hand-held device for determining the presence or absence of 50-1000 volts AC in insulated wires, wall receptacles, fuses, junction boxes, switches and other voltage-carrying electrical systems.  It is not necessary to disconnect the system in question because no contact is required for operation and current flow is not necessary to locate voltage. Simply touch the plastic tip to a connection point or move it along a wire, touch it to metal enclosure screws, stick the end into a receptacle slot, touch it against exposed metal piping in crawl spaces, attics before touching and so on which can save lives.  If AC voltage is present, the tip will glow red and you will hear an audible tone.
